CLOTHING IN ANCIENT ROME
Roman citizens were known for wearing the toga and the tunic. A tunic is a kind of long, white shirt and it was usually without sleeves, although it could have short ones. Tunics were usually only worn in the house, as most Romans would wear a toga when outside of the house. Togas were long robes that were usually white. As time passed, the toga went out of style and Romans began to wear the tunic more and more.
